This was a real incredible piece to be involved with. I played the role of self-shooting producer/director. During Covid-19 many people were doing whatever they could to help raise money for the NHS. I came into contact with Charlie Harboard & Harry Richards two young men who decided one day they wanted to row the entire length of the River Thames in their West London flat in the middle of lockdown in under 48 hours. I joined their journey at the early stages and had the opportunity to really grow with them and the story as it unfolded. It was incredible to document the pair go through all the ups and downs of this gruelling task.
I brought together a large group of creative people to help me tell the story, from my talented editor Joe Taylor to Brother Music for both sound mixing and producing a bespoke soundtrack. I also brought on the masters at Cheat to colour the film and an animator Rosa Beiroa to help tell parts of the story I couldn't reach due to the pandemic.
